GLENN CLOSE comes out to introduce the performers paying tribute to Barbra - IDINA MENZEL "Don't Rain On My Parade"; BEYONCE, "Memories" from 'Cats'; Ne-Yo "Lover Come Back To Me; and KELLI O'HARA & NATHAN GUNN, "Somewhere". It is rare to find a singer that can sustain notes as Barbra does (except in opera and there must be one or two somewhere), although I think Mariah can do it, maybe not as long.

Beyond her extraordinary vocals, Streisand has this amazing technique of breath.

There is no one like her, no one.

I'm a singer myself and have learned so much from her.
